EKN participates in several international networks: globally, within the OECD, the EU, the Berne Union, and in the Nordic region.

WTO
The WTO regulates international trade, aiming to support producers, exporters, and importers in their business while facilitating trade between countries.

Export financing plays a crucial role in the work of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). EKN collaborates within the OECD on several different issues and regulations.

Two EU policies govern state guarantees: trade policy, focusing on global competitive neutrality, and competition policy, ensuring EU neutrality and non-subsidies.
EUThe Berne Union
EKN is a member of the Berne Union (International Union of Credit and Investment Insurers), which is an industry association with around 80 members from all over the world.

Annual meetings are held on the executive level and for several sub-groups for discussions on technical issues. This gives EKN the opportunity to meet and have discussions with its Nordic colleagues and strengthen contacts.
