The transaction covers delivery of equipment to a new cogeneration plant, Luján de Cuyo, which is part of an expansion of an existing the Central Puerto SA – Mendoza Plant (CPSA – MZA), an electrical energy generation plant, with an installed capacity of 509 MW.
The plant will be located in an industrial area.
The plant's main source of fuel is natural gas, and the projected installed capacity of 93 MW electric and 119 MW thermic energy.
The main environmental and social impacts of the Luján de Cuyo Cogeneration Plant relate to greenhouse gas emissions.
